The Pharmaceutical Industry has been plagued with failure in its drug development pipelines and yet we still have Research Institutes and Universities producing novel and innovative medicines.
Why is this happening? Are there special qualities in Academia that the industry can learn from to reinvigorate their pipelines? The presentation will discuss the pros and cons of Academia and relate them to reality that is the pharmaceutical industry in the hope of stimulating thinking and debate.
